• Activated Carbon eliminates odours and the water’s yellow colour caused by roots, peat, diatoms, etc, by absorption all toxic substances
• It is phosphate free and doesn’t modify the water’s pH
Replacement (average for 200-litre aquarium)
The activated Carbon gets saturated in 4 to 6 weeks depending on the aquarium volume and the amount of noxious substances present in the water. After this period,
the Carbon is inactive and should be replaced.
